Peach

Peach launched on January 7, 2016, from a co-founder of Vine, and reached the top 10 iOS networking apps that weekend. Within weeks, the record notes, "interest in Peach softened." In 2019, after a two-week outage, it went looking for a benefactor to pay the server bills. In late 2023 the domain registration expired. A stranger bought it and posted an announcement claiming to have acquired Peach. The founder denied this in February 2024 and admitted he had let the domain lapse. As of 2025 it is gone from both app stores. He says the service "is still good to go." Go where is unclear.
